Hi, I was wondering if anyone is taking this vitamin? The only thing I can find out about it is that it is recommended for Cystic Fibrosis cases and can only be bought from the manufacturer.

The other vitamins I am on are Ferro-Grad C, Centrum A - Zinc and Caltrate PLUS.

Are these standard vitamins or just from my nutritionalist likes.

Thanks heaps

Dave

Hi Dave,

I take Swisse for multivitamins, calcium and iron. Swisse multivitamin was recommended by the dietitian and I find their calcium and iron are formulated for good absorption.
Bit of a late reply I see but I hope it is of help.

Hi Dave, I have been taking VitABDECK religiously since my BPD surgery four years ago as recommended by my surgeon. These are fat soluble vitamins and are different from the vast majority of multivatamins. In my case, they have not been sufficient on their own, because some forms of nutritional deficiency are common following a BPD (Scopinaro method) as I had done, and I am one of the more pronounced cases that suffer these symptoms so I am being carefully monitored both by my GP through regular blood tests, and also by the haematology department of the hospital and my surgeon. If you have been recommended to take these, I suggest you do so. You can also get them with free postage from the Cystic Fibrosis store of NSW which is where I order mine. Just Google VitABDECK and they come right up.
